Starting Dec. 27th, the Bikin’ Dads Adventures will start a series of mini-camps, the “Basic BIKE for the MTB’r.” Begining in Cabarrus County, we’ll be making our rounds through the region, hoping to help you as a rider, a parent or curious one with the basics into mountain biking.

This will be for YOU, whether you race or not! Gain the basics, knowlege & confidence in this life long adventure that is mountain biking!

Some of the topics covered will consist of:
– Improved & Proper MTB set up
– Pre & Post Ride Basic Maintenance Checks
– Helmet Safety
– Trail Safey & Stewardship
– Cornering
– Conquering the “ROOT” &/or “DROP”
– When, How, Where to brake properly
– How to “CHARGE” the hills that we all love!

Class sizes are limited to 10, so register now to save your spot. Instructors are Professional Mountain Bike Instructor Association – PMBIA certified, Law Enforcement Bicycle Association certified & hold various levels in coaching licenses with National Interscholastic Cycling AssociationBackcountry Lifeline First Aid-CPR/AED as well as years of involvement in the local and regional mountain bike community be it riding or racing!

***Currently, the class will be for AGES 10-17, however, location & case by case scenario we can work with you.
***Fresh Fruit & Hydration will be provided, as well as your custom “T” upon completion of the class.
